My story: Crafting creativity in Māpua
Kia ora, I'm Lauren Kidd. I have spent the last 15 years honing my skills as a High School Art Teacher. I am thrilled to now be offering these skills to you! Kiddcreative was born from a passion for bringing people together through the tactile and therapeutic art of ceramics. I believe everyone has a creative spark, and my studio provides a nurturing environment to discover and develop it. From your first pinch pot to intricate sculptures, I will guide you through every step of the ceramic journey.
My approach: Inspiring functional art
My journey began with a simple idea: to make ceramic art accessible and enjoyable for all. I focus on teaching techniques that allow you to personalise your work, creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also practical. Imagine sipping from a cup you crafted or displaying a unique wall hanging you designed – that's the Kiddcreative experience.
